My Chimney!

Has your chimney been made unsafe after the many aftershocks in Christchurch? We are licensed building practitioners who can remove and repair you chimney with minimal fuss.

We carry all our own gear. We provide the scaffolding, schute and of course our highly trained staff.

Whats Involved?

This varies from home to home. However the 2 most common types of removal are as follows.

Situation 1 - Chimney is lowered to ceiling level. Roof is patched and waterproofed and tiles are sourced to match existing roof

Situation 2 - Entire is chimney is removed (including internal wall chimney), area is reframed, roof patched and waterproofed and tiles and bricks are sourced to match existing roof and wall.

Will I get a new chimney?

This is at the descretion of EQC or Fletchers. We can assist you with this process
